Shiraz with Pizzazz

If there’s one wine, we have bragging rights to in Australia, it is Shiraz. It is synonymous with our industry here and makes up most of the oldest and most established vines we have.

 

Deliciously dark.

Full-bodied.

Age-worthy.

 

Some of today’s winemakers are taking the iconic varietal and making more modern expressions of it. Some stick to the truest and bluest bolshie iterations of our flagship Aussie red.

 

So, the most important question, given International Shiraz Day is just around the corner (Thursday 24 July 2025), what are we going to be sipping on? And what are we nibbling on with it…
